We are Design/Build contractors. This means that we take the project from concept to completion. There is very little missed communication or wasted effort in this method. We do all the work. We are responsible for the finished product.

The Design/Build Process

• Initial site visit - a representative from Jackbuilt/AKB will come out to your home to view, discuss and measure out the project, or bring your kitchen plan by for an evaluation.

• Ball parking - We will then put together a preliminary estimate to do the work, based on the initial visit and your 'wish list'. This will establish your budget.

• DSA - We sign a Design Service Agreement, which will put your job on the board, and then we design, specify, and schedule your project. The DSA requires an initial payment, which will be credited to the final job cost. All work is computer generated to enhance and expedite concepts and changes.

• Generate contract - We write the contract to cover the work to be done. This will include all the job plans, the job specifications and the job budget with a payment schedule.
